Via« Back to Projects

Via was inspired by the work we did on Swift. Swift brought a scary proposition, building a mobile website, into the hands of people who might not know the intricacies of mobile technology. If anything, SMS is even more daunting than the mobile web. Via was built to bridge this chasm of barriers and create a mobile marketing tool that could be used by anyone.

The goal for Via was to take 10 years of SMS knowhow and put it in a simple package. I led the team that worked to streamline this knowhow into an easy-to-use tool. I architected an interface that stripped out all of the overly technical options and presented the user with a simple way to interact with their customers through text messaging. The product allows you to send out alert campaigns, set up auto-responders, conduct polls and trivia, and set up SMS menu trees.

Via has been a fresh air for current and prospective SMS clients. It is the standard for text-based mobile marketing in the space.
